Project Destiny Studios™ Microsoft Agent Plugin for Mozilla® Firefox®
See Microsoft Agent characters in Firefox! This plug-in allows the ActiveX Controls needed by Microsoft Agent 2.0 to run within certain versions of the Mozilla® Firefox® web browser. This plug-in is based on the original Netscape 7 ActiveX plug-in developed by Netscape Communications Corporation, however it has a modified security policy so that it only allows the ActiveX controls needed by Microsoft Agent to be able to run instead of allowing any ActiveX control to run. This is done to minimize the security risk posed by hosting ActiveX controls in Mozilla based browsers. Only install this ActiveX Plugin if you are using the version of Mozilla Firefox specified, and always remove the ActiveX Plugin (npmozax.dll) before upgrading your browser to a new version. This plug-in is covered by the Netscape Public License version 1.1 and the unmodified version of the plug-in can be found on Adam Lock's website. The source code for the plug-in can be found at Mozilla.org. If you have already installed the ActiveX Plugin for Microsoft Agent, you can check to see if it working by trying to load the Foxee™ character on this test page in Mozilla Firefox! Uninstalling the Plugin If you end up having problems with the plugin or if you just get tired of it, you can easily uninstall it by removing the following files from your Mozilla Firefox directory:

Foxee™ Windows XP Boot Screens
See Foxee every time you start your computer! The Windows XP boot screen is the black screen with the Windows XP logo and the animated orange progress bar on it that you see every time you start your computer. Personally, I like to customize as much of Window's appearence as I can to give my computer a truly personal feel, and that includes my making my own custom Windows XP boot screens! So that you don't have to alter your Windows XP system files manually, these boot screens were designed to be used with a freeware program called BootSkin from Stardock Corporation. Stardock BootSkin is very easy to use and replaces your Windows 2000 and XP boot screens in a safe and reversible manner. This allows you to change your boot screens with ease and without worry. You can download Stardock Bootskin here. A Word of Caution While using Stardock BootSkin minimizes the risk that you run by modifying the system files that contain your computer's boot screen, please keep in mind that you are still modifying system files and that as a result you still run the risk of accidentally corrupting your operating system and preventing Windows XP from running or loading properly. In other words, modify your boot screen at your own risk! |

Foxee™ Firmware for S1 MP3 Players
Now you can rock with your favorite arctic blue fox!!! The S1 MP3 Player is an inexpensive flash-based MP3 player and digital voice recorder that is manufactured by many companies in China and are sold under several dozen different brand names. They are all based around the Actions Semiconductor ATJ2085 digital music player chip and either Samsung or Hynix solid-state NAND flash memory. I was lured into buying one of these MP3 players some time ago because I was looking for a low-cost digital voice recorder to record panel speakers at conventions, and this little MP3 player did an O.K. job at that before its firmware became corrupted and the player locked up and died after only 3 conventions. During the process of learning how to flash new firmware to this player in order to bring it back to life, I learned how to modify the firmware and replace the player's default artwork and animations with my own. Now not only have I successfully brought the player back to life, but it now has a whole bunch of custom animations and artwork featuring Foxee and some of my other cartoon characters as well! If you too are lucky enough to own one of these little MP3 players and know how to flash new firmwares to it, you too can now have Foxee liven up its little screen by downloading the firmware files below! How to replace your S1 MP3 player's current firmware with the Foxee firmware:
A Word of Caution If you decide to flash the Foxee firmware to your MP3 player you are running the risk of damaging your MP3 player beyond repair. As a result, I will not be held responsible for any damage done to your MP3 player while you are following my instructions or using my firmware. Remember, my MP3 player was already corrupted and inoperable before I started messing with its firmware, so I had nothing to lose if I somehow damaged it further. In other words, modify your MP3 player's firmware at your own risk! |
