I drew this drawing the night after I drew "Final Night." When I drew this picture I was upset because I had lost the auction for the production cel for which "Final Night" was based. Drawing this picture made me feel better. I feel this is my best Duchess drawing I have done thus far. This pose is from the scene where Duchess is watching her kittens practice the fine arts of painting and playing the piano.
This drawing was originally done with a .05mm mechanical pencil with 2HB and 5H leads, darkened on the computer with Paint Shop Pro 3, and then colored with colored pencils. This drawing may also be a future candidate for a digital coloring experiment.
